Prachanda and Madhav Nepal reach EC



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) of the Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar have reached the Election Commission (EC).

It is learnt that they have reached the EC to clarify the letter sent by the EC to the Prachanda-Nepal faction.

Interestingly, the EC is preparing for the elections while the issue of reinstatement of the parliament is still sub-judice at the Supreme Court.

The Prachanda-Nepal and PM Oli factions of the NCP have submitted their demands to the Election Commission claiming the party’s legitimacy. The EC is studying the claim.
