NC 14th General Convention: Closed session to take place today

Election process to start on Saturday



KATHMANDU: The closed session of the 14th General Convention of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is scheduled for Friday evening.

According to NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma, the closed session, one of the most crucial sessions of the General Convention, will begin as soon as the inaugural session of the Nepali Congress ends.

Spokesperson Bishwaprakash Sharma informed that a closed session has been scheduled for today as the election process will start from Saturday.

Although NC had scheduled the inaugural ceremony of the Convention for 1 pm, the ceremony started one and half hour late.

According to Sharma, candidates will have to register their nomination papers from 10 am to 5 pm tomorrow.
