KATHMANDU: The much-awaited 14th General Convention of Nepali Congress is starting at Bhrikutimandap in a while.
The general convention is beginning at 1 pm.
The movements of general convention representatives among other leaders and participants have increased at the venue Bhrikutimandap.
Meanwhile, police have tightened security condition around Brikutimandap. The security personnel are allowing the participants to enter the venue only after carrying out a through check-up.
The main stage which can accommodate around 150 people has been constructed. Around 3,500 representatives have arrived in the federal capital.
Vehicular movements from City Hall (Rastriya Sabha Griha) and Padmodaya mode have been banned except for essential ones.
