12 injured as Biratnagar-bound bus turns turtle



DHANUSHA: Two people were inured in a bus accident in Dhanushadham municipality-6, Maltole in Dhanusha district on Wednesday morning.

A bus, Na Kha 7102, heading to Biratnagar from Tulsipur, Dang turned turtle after it went out of control at 7:45 am along the East West Highway, police said.

According to police the bus caught fire as soon as it met with the accident. Twelve people among those traveling in the bus sustained injuries in the accident.

Of them, 10 are receiving treatment at a private health clinic in Pushpawalpur while the remaining two are receiving treatment at Model Hospital in Lalgadh, said Police Inspector Pradeep Subedi of Area Police Office, Dhalkebar.

Driver and co-driver are at large following the accident. Police said they are searching them.
