Two killed in truck-bus collision



MAKWANPUR: Two people died on the spot in a collision between a truck and a bus. The truck (registration plate number Pradesh-2-0301 Kha 5035) hit the night bus (Na 7 Kha 876) at Nawalpur of Hetauda last night.

The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Janakpur while the truck was coming from the opposite direction when they collided.

The name and address of the deceased is not yet ascertained and police are carrying out investigation, Jayashwor Rimal, spokesperson at the District Police Office, said.

He said 15 bus passengers and the truck driver who were injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the Chure Hill Hospital and Cooperative Hospital in Hetauda.
