One killed in tusker attack in Bardiya



BARDIYA: One person has been killed in an elephant attack in Bardiya.

The deceased has been identified as Bechan Dahit, 35, of Rajapur-10.

It is reported that he was trampled by an elephant last night while returning home.

Bechan was found dead this morning.

According to Ishwor Karki, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Bardiya, elephant footsteps were also seen around the incident site.
