KATHMANDU: The meeting of the National Assembly (NA) has approved the Food Hygiene and Quality Bill 2077 BS today.
The bill was tabled in the meeting by Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Lawmakers Prakash Pant, Anita Devkota, Ram Narayan Bidari, Maya Prasad Sharma, Khimlal Bhattarai, Thagendra Prasad Puri, Ganga Kumari Belbase, Uday Sharma Poudel, Dr Bimala Poudel Rai, and Dr Khimlal Devkota had participated in the discussions and Minister Karki had responded to their queries regarding the bill in the meeting.
