NA members criticize government over Jay Singh Dhami incident



KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) lawmakers have come down heavily on the government for failing to bring out the truth about the incident of Jay Singh Dhami who went missing in the Mahakali River while crossing the ‘tuin’.

Speaking during the zero hour of the NA meeting Tuesday, lawmaker Deepa Gurung warned the government not to delay in bringing out the truth about the incident of Dhami.

She labeled the incident as a heinous crime.

Lawmaker Gurung also drew the attention of the government to bring out the truth about the incident of the shooting of martyr Govinda Gautam by the India border security force.

Likewise, lawmaker Naina Kala Ojha drew the government’s attention asking it to initiate the process of returning the land encroached by India in Kalapani Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura.
