KATHMANDU: The Hydrology and Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain in some places across the country on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of Province 1, Bagmati Province, and Lumbini Province.
Meteorologists have urged people to take necessary precautions as the water level in rivers and streams may rise due to the risk of soil erosion, landslides, and drift in the hilly areas.
