Four provincial govts presenting policies and programs today



KATHMANDU: Four provincial governments are presenting their policies and programs for the fiscal year 2021/22 today.

Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati and Sudurpaschim Pradesh are introducing their policies and programs today prior to bringing the budget.

Pradesh 1 Chief will present the policies and programs at 3 pm, according to Chamila Bhattarai, the spokesperson of the Provincial Assembly.  A Business Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for 1 pm will take a final call on it, said Bhattarai.

Similarly, Pradesh 2 will present its policies and programs at 2 pm. Province Chief Dr Rajesh Jha alias Ahiraj will present the policies and programs, said Speaker Saroj Kumar Yadav.

Similarly, Bagmati Pradesh is scheduled to present its policies and programs at 3 pm. Province Chief Bishnu Prasain will present policies and programs at 3 pm.

Similarly, Sudurpaschim will present its policies and programs for the fiscal year 2021/22 at 4 pm. Province Chief Ganga Prasad Yadav will present its policies and programs, said the province assembly secretariat. The policies and programs have to be presented 15 days prior to the budget as per the provision of the Constitution.

As per the provision, provincial governments have to bring budgets on June 15.
