Nine more die of COVID-19 in Kailali

KAILALI: Nine more persons died of COVID-19 in Kailali district in the past 24 hours.

According to the officials, six patients died in Seti Provincial Hospital, two in Tikapur Hospital and one in home isolation.

Information Officer of Seti Hospital Dilip Kumar Shrestha said that a 62-year-old woman and an 87-year-old woman of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3 and a 42-year-old man of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18 died in the past 24 hours.

Similarly, a 52-year-old man of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-4, a 37-year-old man of Ghodaghodi Municipality-10 and a 33-year-old man of Kanchanpur district also died in Dhangadhi while receiving treatment for coronavirus infection.

Information Officer of District Administration Office Shivaraj Joshi said that a 63-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman of Tikarpur Municipality succumbed to the virus.
