NEPSE increases by 27.41 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 27.41 points on Monday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2645.84 points.

Likewise, the sensitive index has also increased by 4.35 points and closed at 475.12 points.

A total of 7.579 million shares of 218 companies have been bought and sold in 51,235 transactions resulting in a transaction of 4.2 billion.

With 13 groups trading in Nepse today, all indicators have increased and Nepse has turned completely green. Among them, the index of Commercial Bank Group has increased by 3.61 points and reached 1781.81 points while the index of Hydropower Group has also increased by 15.98 points and reached 2589.82 points.

Apart from these, indicators of development banks, microfinance, non-life insurance, life insurance, trading, hotels and tourism, finance, manufacturing, other, collective investment funds, and investment groups have also increased.

The share price of Rashtriya Bima Company, which is at the top of the list of highest-earning companies in Nepse today, has increased by 10 percent to Rs 19,250 per share, while the share price of Bishal Bazar Company, which is at the top of the list of highest losing companies, has dropped by 9.99 percent to Rs 5,000. Shares have been bought at Rs 441 per share.

Similarly, Nepal Re-Insurance Company, which was ranked first in terms of a number of transactions, had a share price of Rs 274,27,930 at a final price of Rs 1,496 per share.
