Maoist PP decides not to support PM Oli’s vote of confidence proposal



KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party of the CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to vote against the confidence motion to be tabled in the parliament by Prime Minister KP Oli Monday afternoon.

A meeting of the parliamentary party held this morning decided to vote against PM Oli, according to Devendra Paudel, a lawmaker of the Maoist Center.

Likewise, the meeting has also decided to consult with other political parties for a no-confidence motion after Prime Minister Oli fails to get a vote of confidence in the parliament.

The meeting will hold discussions with the Nepali Congress, Janata Samajbadi Party, and the disgruntled faction of the CPN-UML for the no-confidence motion.
