I became minister for one day more than I predicted, says Manange

POKHARA: With the resignation by Chief Minister of Gandaki Pradesh Prithvi Subba Gurung, Minister for Youth and Sports Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange has been relieved of his post after becoming minister for 11 days.

After taking oath of office and secrecy amid political stalemate in the province on April 29, Manange had commented that the government would not last for more than 10 days.

“I had said I would become minister for 10 days. It’s been 11 days,” said Manange in a hilarious tone.

However, he admitted his innocence regarding the Chief Minister’s resignation.
