Madhav Nepal faction in favor of retaining communist-led govt



KATHMANDU: A meeting of CPN-UML central members close to senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has decided to make efforts to retain sustain the Left alliance government.

A meeting held on Wednesday evening decided to endeavor to make sure that they formed a communist government despite the dissatisfaction within the party in the past, according to leader Raghuji Pant.

“We reviewed the overall current political situation. Discussions were also held on how to move forward by uniting the party,” he said.

The meeting was attended by party leaders, including Madhav Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and other central committee members.
