India’s COVID-19 cases cross 11.2 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 16,846 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 11,261,470.

Currently, 185,767 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 10,917,624 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 158,000-mark.

With 133 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 158,079, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
