PM Oli is a ‘paper tiger’, President his ‘pawn’: NCP leader Jhakri

KATHMANDU: Leader of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Ram Kumari Jhakri has labeled Prime Minister KP Oli a “paper tiger” and President Bidhya Devi Bhandari “PM’s pawn”.

Addressing a mass meeting organized against PM Oli’s decision of dissolving the House, Jhakri said, “We will continue to speak and raise our voice against regression, come what may.”

Jhakri also came down heavily on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari for what she said “damaging the reputation of the President’s institution.”

“She has been a pawn and a villain,” Jhakri added.

She also said that the House of Representatives will be reinstated at any cost.
