NC endorses three reports on General Convention



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress has passed the political and financial report to be submitted at the 14th General Convention.

The last meeting of the current working committee held at the party office in Sanepa passed three reports on the 14th General Convention to begin tomorrow.

Party Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka had submitted the organizational report in the meeting on behalf of the two general secretaries.

Likewise, the meeting also passed a financial report presented by the party’s treasurer.

According to the report, the party has so far accumulated more than Rs 100 million in the fund.

Likewise, the meeting also passed a report of the policy research and training academy.

The meeting also approved the amendments and amendments of the party statute made as per the need at different times.

According to Spokesperson Sharma, the meeting did not dwell on increasing the number of office bearers and central committee members.
