Nepal records 533 new COVID-19 cases, one death in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 533 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 443 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 90 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 118 persons in Kathmandu, 38 in Lalitpur, and 13 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 169 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, one more person has succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 484 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
