NC’s Poudel faction calls district presidents’ meeting



KATHMANDU: The Poudel faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of district presidents in the federal capital today.

The Poudel’s group has called a meeting of its district chairpersons as the the 14th General Convention of the party is on hold.

According to a district president, a meeting to be held in the Kathmandu Valley will decide exert pressure on party president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to hold the the general convention on time.

“The meeting will discuss ways and decide to exert pressure on party president Deuba to ensure the timely holding of the 14th General Convention of the party,” the leader said.
