NC asks government to resolve BPKIHS’ problems

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has blamed the government of not taking efforts to resolve the problems even if the agitation launched by doctors, students and staff of BP Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) putting forth various demands is continued for around one month.

Issuing a press release Friday, NC Spokesperson, Bishwo Prakash Sharma, said that the government has not been thinking that the agitation launched at the BPKIHS for long would make serious impact on overall BPKIHS and people. The press release mentioned that necessary treatment was necessary rather than turning deaf ear to many anomalies taking place in BPKIHS.

The NC stated that the future of the organization would not be saved only in physical infrastructure by hurting the sentiments of those involved round the clock for the prestige and future of BPKIHS. It also demanded the government to create environment conducive in the BPKIHS by addressing genuine demands holding meaningful talks with agitating doctors, staff and students.
