KATHMANDU: Drig Narayan Pandey, who was recently elected as a member to the National Assembly (NA) from Lumbini Pradesh, has taken oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday.

NA lawmaker Ganesh Timalsina administered oath of office and secrecy to Pandey amidst a program held at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

Pandey had been elected to the NA by defeating his rival Chandra Bahadur Khadka in the NA election held in Lumbini Pradesh on May 31.
