KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has issued a whip to its House of Representatives lawmakers to vote in support of the floor test sought by Prime Minister KP Oli on Monday.

Ruling UML Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai on Sunday issued the whip to vote in support of the government at a time when some lawmakers of the disgruntled faction led by Madhav Kumar Nepal are preparing to resign en masse.

It should be noted that PM Oli is seeking a vote of confidence during the special meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday afternoon.
