One succumbs to coronavirus in Dharan



DHARAN: A person died of coronavirus while undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences last night.

A 50-year-old man from Gramthan 5 in Morang district had tested positive for coronavirus on April 30.

He was admitted to the hospital on April 29 due to some health problems.

Hospital sources said as many as 139 infected people have died while undergoing treatment at the institute so far.

According to the hospital, some 999 infected people have been discharged from the institute after recovery while 1,338 infected people have been admitted for treatment.
