NC demands smooth supply of oxygen to hospitals

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has demanded the government to immediately address the shortage of oxygen at hospitals, take action against those creating an artificial shortage and ensure supply of oxygen and its cylinders from a foreign country if needed.

NC’s COVID-19 monitoring committee has urged the government to show sensitivity to the situation when coronavirus-infected people are deprived of treatment in want of hospital bed and oxygen supplement across the country.

NC’s joint general secretary and committee coordinator Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat had asked the government to ensure every citizen’s right to receive treatment by making arrangements of makeshift hospitals for COVID-19 treatment in different parts of the country.
