Socialism impossible from incumbent government: Madhav Nepal

SIRAHA: Chairman of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the country has been ushered into a crisis after the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing a program in Siraha on Saturday in commemoration of farmers’ leader Jayagovinda Sah, he claimed that socialism would not come from this government as it has already adopted the path of capitalism.

He added that the party took action against the Prime Minster for latter’s activities against the party.

Also speaking on the occasion, former education minister and NCP standing committee member Girirajmani Pokharel said the HoR dissolution was against the constitution and the people.
