Dr KC ups the ante against HoR dissolution

KATHMANDU: Senior orthopedic surgeon Dr. Govinda KC has staged demonstration against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).

There have been agitations across the country after the President, without consulting experts and considering constitutional provisions, dissolved the HoR on the recommendation of the government.

Dr. KC, who has long been fighting for reforms in health and medical education sector has joined the protest organized by the civil society members against the unconstitutional move taken by the prime minister.

“I have joined the agitation for the issue is related with safeguarding the democracy ,” Dr. KC told the agitators, adding, “ the government has gone whimsical and autocratic.”
