Couple found dead in Tokha-based housing

KATHMANDU: A couple has been found dead in a housing based in Tokha, Kathmandu.

Wife Sudiksha Giri and husband Umesh KC have been found dead in Green Villa situated near Grande International Hospital in Tokha.

According to DSP Pramesh Bista of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, the husband was found dead in the bed room and the wife was found hanging from the ceiling of the room on Friday night.

A pestle covered in blood has been recovered from the incident site.

Originally from Baneshwor, Kathmandu, they were engineers by profession. They had not been on good terms, of late, according to locals.

It is suspected that the wife must have committed suicide after murdering her husband. Police said they are investigating the case.
