NC leader Singh defeated as party’s general convention representative



JANAKPURDHAM: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Amaresh Kumar Singh, elected to the House of Representatives from Constituency No. 4 of Sarlahi, has been defeated in the party’s regional convention.

Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba and leader Bimalendra Nidhi were united against Singh in favor of Shekhar Koirala.

The coalition formed against Amaresh has won all the posts from the regional chairperson to the general convention representative.

In order to defeat Amesh Kumar Singh, Upendra Kushwaha and Birendra Singh, the province’s MPs of the same constituency, were united.
