Nepal records 390 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 152 fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 390 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 371 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 19 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 117 persons in Kathmandu, 20 in Lalitpur, and 15 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 152 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 5 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 425 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
