Govt made mistake by withdrawing Civil Service Bill: UML

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party CPN-UML has said the government made a mistake by withdrawing the Civil Service Bill.

UML parliamentary party (PP) deputy leader Subash Nembang said that the government had done a wrong thing by withdrawing the bill that was forwarded after discussions were held on it in parliamentary panels.

Exiting the parliament building Friday, Nembang told the media that the UML would not accept the bills after they are withdrawn and brought through an ordinance later.

“The bill was in the parliament for long. It was extensively debated in parlimentary panels and finally was tabled. But the government withdrew it. This is very wrong and the opposite is happening,” Nembang said.
