UML will continue House obstruction till its demands are addressed: Pradeep Gyawali

TANSEN: UML secretary and party spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali has said that the CPN-UML will continue obstruction of the parliament until its demands are met.

Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal, Palpa in Tansen, the UML Spokesperson said that the obstruction would continue unless Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota apologized and took action against the 14 defecting UML lawmakers now in CPN-Maoist Center.

The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 1 PM Friday.

Gyawali claimed that the coalition government formed as per the Supreme Court directives after the reinstatement of parliament dissolved by UML Chairman and then Prime Minister KP Oli.

He lambasted the coalition parties in the government and also claimed the alliance could not go much longer as it was formed only for the short-term interests of the parties.
