Weather to remain generally cloudy with chances of light rain until Sunday



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said the low-pressure monsoon trough formed in the Indian State of West Bengal and its surrounding areas is having an impact on the weather system of Nepal.

Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places of Pradesh 1, Gandaki Pradesh due to this system.

According to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD this morning, light to moderate rains compounded with thunderstorms will occur in some places across the country in the afternoon today.

The monsoon which normally subsides on October 2 is still active in Nepal. According to the MFD, the weather will remain generally cloudy with changes of rain until Sunday.
