Nation needs to reconsider issues of republic, secularism and federalism: RPP Chair Thapa



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has said the nation should reconsider the issues of republic, secularism and federalism.

Speaking to the media in Chitwan Sunday, RPP Chair Thapa said shuffling of political actors and parties alone did not ensure better days for the country. “The course taken by the country after the last political change has failed to achieve the goals of peace, stability and prosperity. Now it is time to re-think our ideas,” he added.

Stating that the path to peace, stability and prosperity would not be achieved only through the change of leadership of the government, he said that it was necessary to change the path and ideas.
