Namaste Academy joins hands with British College

KATHMANDU: Namaste Academy is pleased to announce a number of exciting changes that will be happening at the school this year.

Based in the Rupandehi district, the Academy is dedicated to providing quality education in Nepal and as such has been established as one of the premium schools in the country.

The first update Namaste Academy is excited to announce is that they have now officially partnered with The British College (TBC). T

BC is a premier College in the heart of Kathmandu that has been offering UK degrees and courses since 2012, in partnership with two top British universities.

TBC is a part of a British Education Group that runs colleges in Nepal, London, and Dubai – all of which have had enormous success as pioneering global institutions.

CEO/ Founder of TBC, Rajen Kandel, said of the new collaboration that he was pleased to partner with Namaste Academy, and use their experience to grow further together as they continue to offer quality education in Nepal.

Both TBC and Namaste Academy understand that not everybody wants to, or financially can, move overseas for their education.

So it is their joint aim to ensure that all of their students can receive world-class education and qualifications, from their home country, at a fraction of the cost.

Namaste Academy would also like to announce the long-awaited arrival of its new Academic Director, Mark Bartholomew. Bartholomew is from the UK and has significant experience at the senior management level.

He has led several educational projects in the UK and brings to the Academy over 20 years of experience from both the British Council and the University of Cambridge – one of the most prestigious universities in the World.

Mark Bartholomew said of the collaboration, ‘Our aim is to serve our Nepalese community, to present its young adults to the world stage and to provide our students with a competitive advantage from the outset.

Our priority this year is to make Namaste Academy the finest provider of the English language in the province, with excellent sporting and arts facilities. We are also determined to make our teaching more experiential so that students can learn by doing things.’

Finally, the Academy is making yet another exciting development by starting grade XI within the Science and Management streams from this year – providing even more options for interested applicants.

So, if you want to be a part of this exciting academic development, then get in touch with the Academy now as there are still a limited number of places left on all courses from PG level to grade IX.

With the arrival of the new Academic Director and the incredible collaboration with TBC- Namaste Academy is set to have its most successful year yet and can’t wait to see which students will be a part of it.
