I have not issued threat to any journalist: former Minister Ale



KATHMANDU: Outgoing Minister for Forests and Environment, Prem Bahadur Ale, has said that his serious attention has been drawn towards the news published and disseminated by different media that he threatened a journalist.

Issuing a press release today, outgoing Minister Ale mentioned that his serious attention has been drawn towards the news published and disseminated in different media saying he threatened a journalist Abdullah Miya of Kantipur Daily for writing news.

Minister Ale said that he always involved in resolving problems of journalists highly respecting them and the journalism sector, expressing commitment for his support in days ahead too.

The statement reads, “I request all not to publish and disseminate news defaming my character without any reason.”
