Sudurpaschim: CM Trilochan Bhatta taking vote of confidence today



DHANGADHI: Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta is taking a vote of confidence in Provincial Assembly meeting today.

According to provincial secretariat, the meeting which was supposed to start at 9 am has not started yet. Currently, UML and Nepali Congress provincial lawmakers are holding a meeting.

Bhatta had registered a confidence motion at the province secretariat in line with Article 188 of the Constitution on Sunday.

Province Secretary Ram Singh Dhami said separate arrangements have been made for those who cast votes in favor and  against Chief Minister Bhatta and those who remain neutral.

A CPN-UML Parliamentary Party meeting is taking place.

The meeting will come up with a decision whether to vote for Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta or not.

Leaders from Oli and Nepal-Khanal faction are participating in the meeting.
