Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 3,662 with 53 new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as 53 COVID-19 patients have reportedly succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll to 3,662 as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 8,418 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,287 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 131 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

Meanwhile, 3,370 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.
