COVID-19: India records new 401,326 infections, 4,194 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 401,326 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 21,886,611.

Currently, 3,731,261 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 17,917,085 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 238,200-mark.

With 4,194 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 238,265, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,283,178 and infected 157,522,922 globally until the filing of this news.
