COVID-19: Nepal records 357 fresh cases, tally hits 2,79,125



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 357 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), the coronavirus tally reached2,79,125 in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

A total of 332 persons were tested for positive while conducting a PCR test and 25 people tested positive from antigens test.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 2479 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 79have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,73,608 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 3038.
