Ramesh Thapa of Pokhara shot dead in US



KATHMANDU: A Nepali citizen has been killed in the shooting incident in the Texas of the United States of America (USA).

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Thapa of Sarangkot, Pokhara, who was living in Austin, Texas.
According to police, Thapa was shot dead in a local residential area at midnight.

According to Austin police, Thapa was shot dead Tuesday night in the Concord apartment area of ​​Spring Road.
Ramesh was found injured in the parking lot when police reached the spot. He died on the spot.

Police have launched a manhunt to find the killer and are preparing to trace the vehicle used by the assailant.

Thapa had gone to the USA about 11 years ago via Mexico.
