Snowfall obstructs flights to and from Humla



HUMLA: The upper Himali district Humla is witnessing continuous snowfall since this morning. The district that had been experiencing thick fog since Sunday morning witnessed snowfall from today.

Nakha Rural Municipality and Simkot have been covered in snow following the heavy snowfall. However, the lower belt of the district is witnessing slight rainfall today, said local Shankar Rawal.

Rawal shared that with the snowfall and rainfall the locals are facing hardship for day to day activities. However, the farmers are happy for a better output from the winter crops.

Meanwhile, flight to and from Nepalgunj and Surkhet to the district remains obstructed.
