Madhyapur turn a hitch on Satdobato’s unbeaten record

Pulchok defeat Ranipokhari with 2-1

KATHMANDU: Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) inflicted the first defeat on Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘B’ Division League with a 2-1 victory on Monday.

SYC seem staggering at Kailash Lamichhane Khatri’s score in the 29th minute meeting Sanjiv Thapa’s cross with a diving header for MYA. SYC had to wait until the 50th minute of the match to find the equalizer through Maldina Angthupo.

However, MYA retook the lead in the 58th minute when Sunny Lama shocked the champions with a header after he was found by Ronish Dheke Rajbhak.

Similarly, in the next match today, Pulchok Sports Club (PSC) defeated Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) 2-1 for their first win of the league.

PSC are still bottom of the league with five points from 10 matches.
