Kathmandu Valley sees 58 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 58 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 45 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 2 in Bhaktapur, and 11 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 130 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,72,055 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,744 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 194 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,68,266 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, seven more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,045.
