Winter session of Sudhurpaschhim Provincial Assembly begins today

KATHMANDU: The winter session of the Sudhurpaschhim Province is starting from today.

The seventh and winter session of the provincial assembly will begin from today, almost six months after the end of the budget session.

The sixth session of the State Assembly started on May 26 last year and ended on September 16, 2020.

Of the 44 bills registered in the State Assembly till the sixth session, 42 bills have been endorsed and two bills are under consideration.

Three bills have been registered in the provincial secretariat in a period of six months.

Laxmi Prasad Joshi, information officer at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the Province, said that three bills prepared by the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives have been registered in the state assembly.

Since the dissolution of the House of Representatives on December 20, the State Assembly meeting has been observed with curiosity.
