15 gamblers land in police net in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR: Fifteen gamblers have landed in a police net in Bhaktapur district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur arrested 15 individuals on the charge of gambling from Maniram Puri’s house based in Changunarayan municipality-8, Sudal, Bhaktapur on Saturday night.

Two packs of playing cards along with Rs 1,243,780 in cash were seized from the gambling den, said police.

Police said they are investigating the case.
