CPN-Unified Socialist decides to use ‘pen’ as party’s election symbol



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Unified Socialist has decided to use ‘pen’ as the party’s election symbol.

A meeting of the party’s Standing Committee held on Thursday decided to keep the party’s election symbol as pen, said Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the party’s publicity department. He added they would complete legal procedures for the same soon.

The Standing Committee meeting also nominated four office bearers. Chief of Publicity Department Khatiwada was nominated as Deputy General Secretary and Garima Sah, Jiwan Ram Shrestha and Bhagwat Bishwasi were nominated as secretaries.
