Leopard kills six goats in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: Six goats owned by Jaisingh Dhami of Sundarpur in Bedkot Municipality-9 were killed by a leopard.

A leopard that entered the human settlement from Shuklaphanta National Park last night killed the goats in the farm run by Dhami. As a result, Dhami said that he lost more than Rs. 125,000.

Six of the 12 goats on the farm were found dead as a result of the attack by the wild animal in the early hours today. Dhami has been raising goats on the farm with an investment of Rs. 600,000.

Residents of the area are worried about the increasing spate of attacks by wild animals including leopards.
