Patients of viral fever increasing in Rolpa



KATHMANDU: When the country is under pressure to prepare preventive strategies to counter the third wave of coronavirus pandemic, Rolpa has experienced a surge in the cases of viral fever in the district.

According to medical superintendent of Rolpa District Hospital Dr Adhar Oli, over 50 cases are recorded daily in the district.

Most of them were coming in the hospital with the symptoms of high fever, diarrhea and common cold, Oli said. He added that such patients were found visiting other health centers in the district as well.

Similarly, 10 to 12 patients of Amoebasis and Giardiasis were visiting in the district hospital daily. Some of them were found worried of COVID-19 infection and reach in the hospital.

One of such patient of Rolpa Municipality-2 Bharat Mahara reached the hospital with similar symptoms and tested COVID-19 but the result was negative.
