President Bhandari and UML senior leader Nepal hold talks



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Bhandari and CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Nepal have held a meeting at Shital Niwas.

Leader Nepal went to Shital Niwas to meet with President Bhandari on Thursday night. He immediately went to Shital Niwas after holding talks with Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba.

It is learnt that in the meeting with Deuba, Nepal had discussed voting against the confidence motion for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Top leaders of major parties have intensified meetings after Prime Minister Oli is set to  test the floor in the parliament on May 10.

Nepal faction of the UML has warned that they would resign en masse before the May 10 parliament session if party Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli did not rethink his move regarding the faction and the party.

They have demanded that the party committees be restored to May 15, 2018, after the Supreme Court decision to annul the unification of Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
